Apple + TV Children's show 'Jane' - Season 2 launches April 19, 2024

The 'Jane’ children's television series is a partnership with Apple TV+ and Sinking Ship Entertainment and first launched in April 2023. The second series will air from 19 April 2024.

The highly-anticipated season two of Emmy Award-winning “Jane” launches globally, Friday April 19th on Apple TV+.

This mission-driven series for kids and families is inspired by the work of world-renowned ethologist and conservationist, Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a United Nations Messenger of Peace.  The show is a live-action/CGI blended series based on the story of Jane Garcia (Ava Louise Murchison), a nine-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals with friends David (Mason Blomberg) and Greybeard the chimpanzee. Using her powerful imagination, Jane and her friends embark on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, can they be saved.”

In Season 2, Jane Garcia and her friends embark on new adventures on her mission to save the world, one endangered animal at a time. Inspired by the mission of Dr. Jane Goodall

On the series, Dr. Jane Goodall states: “I’m excited about this opportunity and relationship with Apple and Sinking Ship. The program ‘Jane’ spreads a message of hope and reminds children that the environment is something that we all have to be concerned about while also inspiring them and their parents to make a difference.”

This show was made possible through the work of Emmy award-winning J.J Johnson (from Sinking Ship Entertainment), and colleagues from across our global network, led by Andria Teather from JGI Global.
