Roots & Shoots groups in the Western Province of Rwanda (146 students across three schools) came together to learn about giving wild animals their freedom, inspired by the story of Wounda the chimpanzee. In addition, students learned about proper pet care.
The session left students motivated to share the message of responsible pet care and wildlife protection.
